西洋人がいう「東洋の神秘の国」ってどこだろうという疑問に
インド人は「中国」と言い、
中国人は「日本」と言い、
日本人は「インド」と
互いに押し付けあってたという話を思いだした。

・インド人
「中国って仙人いるじゃん。スゲーよなあ。雲乗って飛べるんだぜ」
→
中国人
「オメーは中国馬鹿にしてんのか。そんなのいるわけねぇだろ。
山奥なら・・いや、やっぱりいない」

・中国人
「やっぱり日本だろ。忍者だ。忍者」
→
日本人
「あのなあ、お前日本に来て5年たつよな。
俺らいろんなとこに旅行したけど、一人でも忍者をみたか」

・日本人
「やっぱ東洋の神秘といえばインド。神秘の力を持つヨガ行者」
→
インド人
「あんな大道芸の何が凄いんだ」

アジア人同士ですらこれだから、
欧米人がどんな勘違いをしているか想像もつかない。
